HONDA finally began offering a hydraulic clutch beginning on the 2021 HONDA CRF 450R. And for some unknown reason, the line routing is right in your face! It just feels wrong! Plus it's a cheap rubber line that allows some squishiness in the lever feel.

Get a nice consistent solid feel with our stainless steel braided line upgrade that also reroutes the line behind the number plate, just like on Ken Roczens bike!

Please note, the line shown in the images here has transparent red end fittings, but all of our production lines have polished stainless as shown in the line photo below.

Splitstream Fuel Filter Honda CRF

Each Splitstream fuel filter is made of fuel safe nylon mesh for long life and protection. Designed for a snug fit under the fuel cap, where it strains all fuel that enters the fuel tank. When you are riding it is under your fuel cap ready for the next fill up.

A couple of things we noticed while testing the Splitstream fuel filters over the past few months.

1. We were concerned that the filter might slow down the filling process, but we did not experience that with any of our fuel jugs. If you do begin to experience reduced fill speed, then it's probably time to pull the filter out and give it a good wash with hot water and dish soap in the kitchen sink. Be sure to rinse thoroughly!
2. On the first fill-up, it seems like the sock filter will prevent you from being able to see the fuel level as the tank is filling, but it is just like normal, you can see the fuel level in the sock as the tank fills. Below are links to recent posts on Thumpertalk.com that go into the severity of the problem in much more detail.

Here are some helpful links regarding the fuel system on modern injected bikes:

• http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/713577-09-crf-450-fuel-problems/
• http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/676526-09-fuel-pump/

With the introduction of fuel injection on several 2009 MX bikes, clean fuel has become critical. Many owners are experiencing loss of power and starting issues related to contaminated fuel. The contaminants gradually accumulate in the in-tank filter and over time reduce flow to the point that it begins to affect performance.

Initially, the complete fuel pump assembly had to be replaced at over $300 on some models. The quality control on pump gas is really poor nowadays and you will not believe what you'll find in the filter! Over a short period of time, unfiltered fuel allows debris that will eventually begin to cause starting problems and bogging due to clogging. In severe cases, the bike will not start/run at all and can cause the bike to bog or stall at the most inopportune of times.......

The fine micron mesh material used in the Splitstream fuel filter will even filter out water, however, you will need to pull the filter and shake it out after fueling, otherwise, the vibration of the running bike will allow the water to pass through the filter.

This filter fits the following Bikes:

• HONDA CRF 250R 2010-2017
• HONDA CRF 450R 2009-2016
• Does not fit 2017 -2018 450R or RX or 2018 CRF 250R

• 2002-2007 HONDA CR 125-250-500 & CRF 250R & 450R

MOTO STUFF premium Steel Braided Brake lines by CORE MOTO are made to our own specifications using only the highest quality materials including Dupont PTFE liners and a tight weave aircraft-grade stainless steel casing covered in Stealth Black vinyl and an industry exclusive clear translucent HD ACRYLON sheathing to prevent abrasion and provide precise alignment on the bike.

The polished stainless steel banjo fittings are adjustable for precise fitment! Each line also comes with Stainless steel Banjo Bolts and a new set of copper sealing washers.

Upgrading to a stainless line will improve brake lever feel by reducing line expansion, especially on bikes with stock rubber lines that are more than 6 months old (around 20-30 hours of use) year old which will begin to flex and balloon when the brakes are applied. Also, the smaller inside diameter of our lines reduces the volume of fluid being compressed so the response is quicker.

Our lines are made using 2.5mm tubing vs the 3mm tubing most common aftermarket braided lines are made of. Our lines also feature a longer protective sheathing that makes them compatible with the Cycra Stadium plates. With most other lines the sheathing will catch the Cycra cable guide and bind. Our lines also utilize compression bonded sheathing to ensure that the sheathing does not slide on the line which can lead to dangerous rotor contact.

The patented adjustable banjo fittings eliminate binding issues and excessive rubbing /abrasion. (easily adjusted using pliers to grip and rotate the line at the crimp joint area) Kit includes 1 line, a set of 4 new crush washers and 2 stainless steel banjo bolts.

BOLT Hub-Savers FUJI Lock Sprocket Bolt Kit - Silver

This kit includes six class 10.9 zinc plated steel sprocket bolts with factory style class 10.9 Fuji metal-locking nuts and washers. Each sprocket bolt has medium strength thread lock patches pre-applied, which liquefies and anaerobically seals when the bolt is tightened for a double-lock. This kit also includes an 8mm socket tool insert for socket wrenches.

Fits all Japanese and most European dirt bikes.

Our hardware meets or exceeds OEM specs. Proudly designed and assembled in the USA with components from the USA & Taiwan.

Important installation information:

Hub-Savers are the strongest, most complete sprocket fasteners available and have been developed and tested at the professional level in both motocross and off-road applications.

Sprocket bolts are a critical fastener and must be installed properly to ensure your safety and to avoid damaging your machine. To ensure long and reliable use of these quality fasteners:

• First clean and inspect your hub. If the hub is damaged or if the mounting holes are oval, the hub must
• Use the included Allen insert in an 8mm socket wrench to install the sprocket bolts.
• Refer to your owner’s manual for the proper torque (typically 25 ft-lbs), take the torque reading on the nut side. Never over-tighten sprocket bolts!

If your sprocket bolts become loose, they must be replaced! Sprocket bolts become loose only under extreme stress, an indication that either they were installed improperly or there is a problem with the driveline. Check the driveline for bent chain guides, bad wheel alignment, damaged mounting holes on the hub, etc. Properly tightened sprocket bolts on properly functioning drive lines will remain tight indefinitely.
