HONDA finally began offering a hydraulic clutch beginning on the 2021 HONDA CRF 450R. And for some unknown reason, the line routing is right in your face! It just feels wrong! Plus it's a cheap rubber line that allows some squishiness in the lever feel.  

Get a nice consistent solid feel with our stainless steel braided line upgrade that also reroutes the line behind the number plate, just like on Ken Roczens bike!

Splitstream Fuel Filter Honda CRF

Each Splitstream fuel filter is made of fuel safe nylon mesh for long life and protection. Designed for a snug fit under the fuel cap, where it strains all fuel that enters the fuel tank. When you are riding it is under your fuel cap ready for the next fill up.

A couple of things we noticed while testing the Splitstream fuel filters over the past few months.

1. We were concerned that the filter might slow down the filling process, but we did not experience that with any of our fuel jugs. If you do begin to experience reduced fill speed, then it's probably time to pull the filter out and give it a good wash with hot water and dish soap in the kitchen sink. Be sure to rinse thoroughly!
2. On the first fill-up, it seems like the sock filter will prevent you from being able to see the fuel level as the tank is filling, but it is just like normal, you can see the fuel level in the sock as the tank fills. With the introduction of fuel injection on several 2009 MX bikes, clean fuel has become critical. Many owners are experiencing loss of power and starting issues related to contaminated fuel. The contaminants gradually accumulate in the in-tank filter and over time reduce flow to the point that it begins to affect performance.

Initially, the complete fuel pump assembly had to be replaced at over $300 on some models. The quality control on pump gas is really poor nowadays and you will not believe what you'll find in the filter! Over a short period of time, unfiltered fuel allows debris that will eventually begin to cause starting problems and bogging due to clogging. In severe cases, the bike will not start/run at all and can cause the bike to bog or stall at the most inopportune of times.......

The fine micron mesh material used in the Splitstream fuel filter will even filter out water, however, you will need to pull the filter and shake it out after fueling, otherwise, the vibration of the running bike will allow the water to pass through the filter.

Our lines also feature a longer protective sheathing that makes them compatible with the Cycra Stadium plates. With most other lines the sheathing will catch the Cycra cable guide and bind. Our lines also utilize compression bonded sheathing to ensure that the sheathing does not slide on the line which can lead to dangerous rotor contact.

BOLT Hub-Savers FUJI Lock Sprocket Bolt Kit - Silver

This kit includes six class 10.9 zinc plated steel sprocket bolts with factory style class 10.9 Fuji metal-locking nuts and washers. Important installation information:

Hub-Savers are the strongest, most complete sprocket fasteners available and have been developed and tested at the professional level in both motocross and off-road applications.

Sprocket bolts are a critical fastener and must be installed properly to ensure your safety and to avoid damaging your machine. To ensure long and reliable use of these quality fasteners:

• First clean and inspect your hub. If the hub is damaged or if the mounting holes are oval, the hub must
• Use the included Allen insert in an 8mm socket wrench to install the sprocket bolts.
• Refer to your owner’s manual for the proper torque (typically 25 ft-lbs), take the torque reading on the nut side. Never over-tighten sprocket bolts!

If your sprocket bolts become loose, they must be replaced! Sprocket bolts become loose only under extreme stress, an indication that either they were installed improperly or there is a problem with the driveline. Check the driveline for bent chain guides, bad wheel alignment, damaged mounting holes on the hub, etc. Properly tightened sprocket bolts on properly functioning drive lines will remain tight indefinitely.
